This design for a literary archive inspired by the works of the science fiction fantasy author, Aliette de Bodard, is a physical representation of her stories. As they are often bewildering, the building seeks to confuse visitors through the means of circulation, lighting qualities, and the compression or expansion of space. Reading "nooks" and archive walls are placed throughout the building so that  as visitors progress through the space, they begin to develop an understanding of both de Bodard's stories and the architecture itself.
